Marvin J. Lowenthal

Marvin Lowenthal is a litigator at Cohen & Gresser in both the Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology and the Privacy & Data Security groups. Marvin has been a blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiast for years, with a particular interest in the expanding use of digital currencies and NFTs in video games. He has been professionally involved in the blockchain space since 2018 and works on analyzing litigation and potential litigation issues concerning cryptocurrencies, including helping develop presentations for conferences and tracking ongoing court proceedings. In addition to a J.D., he holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Linguistics and a master’s degree in teaching secondary science. He is also a member of the Science and Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association, which has hosted presentations and a CLE program on the potential impact of blockchain technologies on the legal industry.
