The Denver Broncos survived a thriller against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
While Jayden Daniels did not play for Washington, Dan Quinn's team gave Denver all it could handle. Ultimately, the Broncos got the 27-26 win in overtime as the Commanders' two-point conversion attempt failed.
RJ Harvey scored a touchdown in overtime, which was his second of the game, but the Broncos barely escaped with a hard-fought win.
In the victory, wide receiver Courtland Sutton had five catches for 62 yards and a score, and he moved up in the franchise record books in the process.
Ryan Michael of The Pro Football Hall of Fame posted that Sutton became the 7th player in franchise history to surpass 6,000 yards.
"Congratulations to @Broncos WR Courtland Sutton who tonight—became the 7th player in franchise history to eclipse 6,000 receiving yards. Began the night at 5,989 and has added another 23 as of the touchdown below."

The Broncos then revealed that Sutton was the third-fastest player in team history to reach the 6,000-yard mark.
Sutton needed just 11 yards to surpass the 6,000-yard mark, and he did more than that on Sunday.
Sutton was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft and has spent his entire career in Denver.
In the offseason, he signed a four-year contract extension worth $92 million, and Sean Payton said at the time how important the WR is to the team, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN.
"I think Courtland, he's a resource for the team from a leadership perspective," Payton said. "There's a work ethic, and a toughness and a consistency day-to-day. ... [He] is such a positive role model and leader for these guys."
So far, he leads the Broncos in receiving yards, and he now joins an exclusive club in Broncos history.
