In episode 12 of Roundtable's Kansas City Chiefs Podcast, Golden J and Chico open up the show with a brief discussion of last week's Thanksgiving showdown in Texas against the Dallas Cowboys.

Golden J talks about a feeling that all Chiefs fans must've had while enjoying their turkey dinners, which almost came back up as the 4:30 game went on. He also speaks on his superstitions surrounding the Detroit Lions and Cowboys, and how the Lions' loss might've paved the way for a Dallas win (tin hat required).

Giving props to the Cowboys, Golden J admits the team was playing like one desperately trying to make the playoffs, and raises the question of whether the Chiefs were playing with the same mentality.

Looking at Kansas City's run game, Golden J points out the obvious flaw in the Chiefs' rushing; Trey Smith's absence hurt and will continue to hurt this team.

Chico discusses what went wrong for the Chiefs in Dallas, and the controversial calls that altered the outcome of the game and could've ultimately been the reason Kansas City lost.

Golden J spends some time putting on his general manager cap and explains what he would do to fix this team. Let us know in the comments whether he can turn the Chiefs around or if his ideas are too off the wall.

The duo talks about the upcoming game against the Houston Texans, who are sitting at 7-5 and third in the American Football Conference South. Both the Texans and Chiefs desperately need to win this game, so it will provide for an exciting matchup.

While on the topic of the game, Golden J talks about the Chiefs' ability to shut down the run, but how the deep ball is still a threat-- alluding to last week's game against Dallas, where WR Ceedee Lamb was able to be a real problem for Kansas City.

The chiefs' offensive line also needs to step up this week if they want to get back above .500, per Chico and Golden J.

Golden J wraps up the podcast with a request for Patrick Mahomes, presumings he's listening to the episode (we all know he is). So Mahomes if you see this, please listen to Golden J!
