According to Eugene Cheung from Bybit, institutional investors are showing stronger confidence in ETH than retail investors, just a week before the potential launch of the first spot ETH ETFs. Cheung highlighted that institutional ETH exposure has more than doubled from 6.54% to 14.29% since the ETF announcement, compared to a smaller increase from 7.4% to 9.52% among retail investors. This significant institutional interest, which can drive price appreciation due to their large capital, is seen as a bullish signal. Cheung predicts $ETH could 2x to over $6,800 by the end of 2025, fueled by the growing anticipation and interest in ETFs, as ETH recently surged 11.3%, reversing a month-long downtrend.
