Donald Trump has announced that Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, will co-chair his transition team if he wins the presidency. Lutnick, who has supported Tether—a major stablecoin custodied by his firm—has been a vocal advocate for Bitcoin and the crypto industry. Trump's campaign also features J.D. Vance as vice-presidential pick and Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump as honorary chairs. The move is seen as a boost for the crypto industry, which Trump has promised to support by ending what he views as an unfair crackdown. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris is starting to engage with the crypto sector but has not yet publicly declared her stance. Source: The Block
