CryptoPunk owner turns down 2,500 ETH offer
Sale would've broken record, been worth $9.5m
An owner of a CryptoPunk, one of the highest grossing NFT projects, said they weren't selling. They meant it.
Last week, the owner CryptoPunk #6046, @Richerd on Twitter, proclaimed they would not sell their NFT no matter the price. Someone decided to test that proclamation.
The owner received, and rejected, a 2,500 ETH bid on their CryptoPunk, which would have netted them the USD equivalent of more than $9.5 million.
In a thread, The owner said they didn't think twice about rejecting the offer.
