Square Enix, makers of video game franchise Final Fantasy, published a report that indicates it plans to dive into NFTs, citing successful tests of one of its properties in Japan. 

As part of a financial briefing, Square Enix published a report where the company indicates it believes NFTs have high value for them and are contemplating a major push into blockchain gaming. 

According to the report, Square Enix sold out a drop of NFTs in Japan for its "Shi‐San‐Sei Million Arthur" game. It was a proof of concept for the company, who said NFTs "have a high affinity with our assets." 

Additionally, the report notes Square Enix is "contemplating a robust entry into blockchain games" in the medium term.
