"It's something that we're looking at. It's not something that we have immediate plans to do. I would characterize it as there are things that I wouldn't do, like our cash balance. I wouldn't go invest that in crypto. Not because I wouldn't invest my own money in crypto but because I don't think people buy Apple stock to get exposure to crypto," said Cook.
He also said that Apple has no plans to accept crypto for its products but that other plans could be on the horizon.

"I'm not planning to in the immediate future to take crypto for our products as a means of tender, but there are other things that we are definitely looking at," said Cook.
Cook was then asked by the interviewer, Andrew Sorkin, what he meant when he said it wasn't because he wouldn't invest his own money and if he owned any crypto personally.
“I do. I think it’s reasonable to own it as part of a diversified portfolio,” said Cook in the recorded interview. “I’m not giving anyone investment advice by the way.”
Cook added that he had been interested in crypto for some time and that he believes it's interesting.
"I've been interested in it for a while. I've been researching it and so forth and so I think it's interesting."
