The Roundtable: Towards a User-Friendly Web3

For blockchain technology to be accessible, the tech needs to go under the hood.

A panel of experts joined Roundtable to discuss the future of mainstream crypto adoption and adjacent issues. In this segment, they discuss how to make Web3 easy to use for a mass audience.

Luke Stokes notes that user experience is key.

"Easy to use is hugely important," he says. "The iPhone is a great example. This kind of consolidated all the different attempts to wrap the MP3 player and the phone and all the different devices. It's that usability of a single button on your iPhone."

For mass adoption to happen, he argues, users shouldn't have to be aware of the technical nitty-gritty behind blockchain.

"We have to push all that tech under the hood so people don't see it anymore, and then they don't even know they're using a blockchain. They don't even know they're using a cryptocurrency. It just works," he says.

"They get cool perks and they don't even know what happened under the hood. That's where I think the future is."
