It hasn't been a smooth season for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Yes, the Eagles are defending Super Bowl champions and are 8-2, and yes, they have beaten a ton of good teams this year, but it has been far from easy.
Hurts has been at the center of Philadelphia's malaise throughout the campaign, as the offense has had tremendous difficulty producing, and much of that falls on the lackluster aerial attack.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown has made it very clear throughout the season that he is agitated, and apparently, other Eagles players are a bit frustrated by Hurts, as well.
Hurts told reporters that none of his teammates had spoken to him about their issues, but he didn't seem entirely surprised about the possibility of some internal stride.
"It comes with the nature of it," Hurts said, via Zach Berman of The Athletic. "Everyone's going to have an opinion. I give a lot of respect to those things. We're all here to do the do the same things. It's in pursuit of that."
Hurts has thrown for 1,995 yards, 16 touchdowns and one interception while completing 66.9 percent of his passes and posting a 107 passer rating through 10 games.

His numbers certainly aren't bad, but it's also clear that Hurts is having trouble completing explosive plays and has also missed on more throws than usual.
"I get a lot of attention when things are going well and when things are not going so well," Hurts added, per Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philly. "I never run away from holding myself accountable and I think that's exactly what I've taken the approach of doing. Even when I look at this last game, I take great pride in what we do on offense, I take great pride in how we go out there and play as a team and what our flow it. We obviously have work to do and that obviously starts with me. That's always my approach. That's always me looking internally first in everything that we do. And then in due time, rising above."
Hurts is now in his sixth NFL season and has made a pair of Pro Bowl appearances. He has gone 54-22 during the regular season as a starter, so obviously, he knows how to win games. However, the 27-year-old has been criticized for being part of a system rather than actually leading the Eagles to victories.
In spite of how much Hurts has labored at times in 2025, Philadelphia is tied with the Los Angeles Rams for the best record in the NFC, and it actually beat the Rams earlier in the year.
