They've been called the "Bonnie and Clyde of MAGA." (Our suggestion, the "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry of MAGA" never quite caught on.) Dustin Stockton and Jennifer Lawrence are a couple of Republican political operatives (and an engaged couple) who had key roles in organizing the January 6 rally in Washington D.C. They've always claimed to have had nothing to do with the riot at the capitol itself, and as of yet we've seen no proof to the contrary.

According to Rolling Stone, Stockton and Lawrence have decided to cooperate fully with the January 6 congressional committee. They will turn over text messages, Instagram direct messages, and other documents:

...that indicate the extensive involvement members of Congress and the Trump administration had in planning the House challenge to certifying Biden’s election and rally near the White House where Donald Trump spoke — efforts that ultimately contributed to a massive and violent attack on the Capitol.

“We have chosen to cooperate despite serious reservations about whether the Committee’s intention is on following the facts wherever they lead,” Stockton said in a text to the Nevada Independent. “It’s important to us that the hundreds of thousands of people who did not participate in any violence have their voice heard in the official proceedings.”

They have been living out of their RV, in various hotels, and most recently, an undisclosed location in Florida for almost a year. And while they are cooperating, they still believe that the election was stolen from Trump.

The committee issued subpoenas calling on the couple to provide documents and appear for depositions. Stockton's deposition was scheduled for yesterday, with Lawrence scheduled for today.
