1 Killed, 1 Critically Wounded in Vermont-Slauson Shooting Friday Night
A shooting that occurred Friday night on 65th Place and South Vermont Avenue left one person dead, and one critically wounded.
Los Angeles: On Friday night, June 18, 2021, Los Angeles Police Department officers were dispatched to 65th Place and South Vermont Avenue in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles. Upon arrival, they found one victim that was pronounced deceased at the scene and one person in critical condition due to a shooting. The age, gender and race of the two people were not immediately released. LAPD is investigating the shooting.
