Sylmar: Around 9:03 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021, Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision with entrapment on the 16000 block of West Foothill Boulevard. Upon arrival, firefighters located three patients, one of whom was  deceased at the scene. LAFD used the Jaws of Life to free two trapped males in critical condition, according to a Key News photojournalist at the scene. The adult male patients were transported by paramedics to a regional trauma center, according LAFD. Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic is investigating the accident.
