Long Beach: At around 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, Long Beach firefighters responded to a reported structure fire on the corner of Delta Avenue and Willow Street. First arriving crews reported moderate smoke showing from the roof and quickly initiated fire attack. A second alarm assignment was then requested to help battle the fire. As ventilation holes were being cut on the roof, fire then started to push out the holes and crews immediately went defensive. The fire was knocked down in about 35 minutes. No injuries were reported at the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
