Vacant Auto Repair Facility Burns in Pacoima
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in the vacant auto repair facility on North San Fernando Road Friday evening.
Pacoima: On Friday, Apr. 2, 2021, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a structure fire around 7:23 p.m. on the 10200 block of North San Fernando Road. When crews arrived, the one-story row of commercial vacant units were well involved with fire with no other structures exposed. It took 28 firefighters 28 minutes to extinguish the fire with no injuries reported, according to LAFD. The structure was a vacant auto repair facility with all bays open and accessible. Firefighters continued the overhaul operations to address the remaining hard to reach hot spots.
