Los Angeles: LA County Fire Department, along with California Highway Patrol and LA County Sheriff's Department, escorted the remains of the firefighter from Tuesday's fatal fire station shooting, to the LA County Coroners office in Boyle Heights. The deceased firefighter arrived at the LA County Coroners office around 1:50 a.m. 

LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said live on social media Wednesday afternoon that the firefighter killed in the shooting has been identified as Los Angeles County firefighter specialist engineer Tory Carlon. The Sheriff also said the captain remains in critical condition and his name has not yet been released. He added that the wounded captain is a former deputy sheriff that transferred to the fire department some years back.
