
Video: Overturned Big Rig Spills Gallons of Oil in Freeway Collision
An overturned big rig in a collision with two other vehicles resulted in lane closures and oil spill on the 405 Freeway early Saturday morning.
North Hills: California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, involving an overturned big rig fully loaded weighing approximately 80,000 pounds, and two other vehicles on the Northbound 405 Freeway at the Nordhoff on-ramp in North Hills.
Per CHP log, no injuries were reported and a rotator tow truck was requested. Sig alert was issued for an unknown duration of time for the number 2, 3, and 4 lanes as well as the Northhoff on-ramp.
