The Anderson Police Department spreads holiday cheer with Santa Stop.
Anderson, Mo: Anderson Police Department's "Santa Stop" is when the officers stop people for small traffic violations then give gifts out instead of writing a ticket.
I applaud the Anderson PD for making so many smiles and showing so much leadership in their communities.
Chris Sutherland stated to me, “One reason he loves doing this is to help educate the public and show families and kiddos that officers are not scary people. The reason they do their jobs is to help keep our community safe."
