The Toronto Blue Jays will have an interesting offseason in front of them.
The Blue Jays won their first American League pennant since 1993 and were one win away from a World Series championship. They ultimately lost 5-4 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in extra innings.
There's a massive opportunity for Toronto for this season to be the beginning of a window of contention for the Blue Jays, rather than a one-and-done.
There's several notable free agents available in the offseason, including one from Toronto.
Shortstop Bo Bichette is an unrestricted free agent. He's expected to stay with the Blue Jays, according to USA Today's MLB insider Bob Nightengale, but there's always a chance that changes.
Bichette scored 78 runs in 139 games and hit 44 doubles, a triple and 18 home runs with 94 RBIs. He slashed .311/.357/.483 with an .840 OPS.
Another notable free agent, arguably the best available, is outfielder Kyle Tucker. According to Nightengale, he's expected to sign with either Toronto, the New York Yankees or Los Angeles Dodgers.
In his one season with the Chicago Cubs, Tucker scored 91 runs in 136 games and hit 25 doubles, four triples and 22 homers with 73 RBIs. He slashed .266/.377/.464 with an .841 OPS.
Based on the rumors, there's a chance the Blue Jays could end up landing Bichette and Tucker, which would be one an incredible haul.
There's a decent chance based on rumors Toronto could sign Bichette and Tucker.
But, if the Blue Jays can only land one of the two, which player would you rather the team land?
