The Toronto Blue Jays scored three times in the bottom of the ninth inning on Saturday to stun the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 at Rogers Centre.

With the win, Toronto is 86-62, a major turnaround from last season's 74-88 last-place finish.

Furthermore, the Jays lead the American League East by three games over the New York Yankees as they chase their first division title since 2015, and they also lead the Detroit Tigers by 2.5 games in the quest for homefield advantage in the American League playoffs.

And while the come from behind rally was improbable on Saturday, it wasn't necessarily unlikely, as the Jays have made a habit of scoring - and winning - late this season.

Furthermore, Toronto leads the majors in comeback victories with 45, which is more than the Los Angeles Dodgers (43) and Seattle Mariners (42).

Alejandro Kirk provided the walk-off sacrifice fly, which followed RBI singles from Joey Loperfido and Andres Gimenez.

The Jays and Orioles will play again on Sunday afternoon with first pitch coming at 1:37 p.m. ET.

Right-hander Shane Bieber will pitch for Toronto while right-hander Albert Suarez will go for Baltimore.

Bieber is 2-1 with a 4.30 ERA on the season while Suarez is 2-0 with a 2.08. Bieber was acquired from the Cleveland Guardians at the trade deadline and recently made his season debut after missing 1.5 years with Tommy John surgery.
