The Toronto Blue Jays moved one step closer to capturing their first American League East title since 2015 on Tuesday night, rallying to beat the Houston Astros 4-3 in 10-innings.
Trailing 3-1, Toronto tied the game in the bottom of the ninth on a single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa, and they won it in the 10th on a walk-off fielders choice.
At 83-61, Toronto leads the American League East by three games over the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, at least entering play on Wednesday.
While the late win Tuesday was improbable, it also wasn't completely unforeseen, as the Jays have been finding success late in games all year.

Hitting against Bryan Abreu, who has replaced the injured Josh Hader at closer, Alejandro Kirk led-off with a walk and then was replaced by pinch-runner Tyler Heineman. Addison Barger struck out.
At that point, Ernie Clement hit a single to advance Heineman to second and Davis Schneider walked to load the bases.
Then Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled in the game-tying runs to make it 3-3.
George Springer and Myles Straw were both retired to end the inning, and keep the game going a little longer.
Straw began the inning as the automatic runner on second and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit an infield single to put runners at first and third. Daulton Varsho struck out and Heineman scored Straw via a fielder's choice.
The two teams will play again on Wednesday at 7:07 p.m. ET.
