I can't lie - watching Eduard Bazardo log 2.2 solid innings out of the pen last night for the Mariners during their instant-classic 3-2 win over the Tigers in their winner-take-all ALDS Game 5, I got a little mad.

This guy was the definition of inconsistent when playing for Boston during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and yet here he is on the biggest stage of the season for Seattle allowing 1 hit and striking out 4 across the 13th and 14th innings in a game that took 15 innings to find itself a winner.

By no means am I saying I would have wanted Bazardo to have stuck around after 2022. Far from it. It's just frustrating when a guy who was in your possession, who you definitely could have used down the stretch this season, pitches like that in a different uniform all these years later.

Am I alone on this one?
