Remember when the White Sox traded Jake Burger with multiple years of club control remaining for LHP Jake Eder?

A deal that was completely frowned upon in real time, and proved to be bad in the years that followed. 

Eder pitched in 1 game for the White Sox back in 2024 before being traded to the Angels. He appeared in 8 games for the Angels last season...and now he's back in MLB with the Dodgers of all teams. 

The Dodgers called up Eder on Monday and pitched him out of the bullpen. 

Now a 5.06 ERA in 10 career MLB appearances.
