The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Toronto Raptors to tip off Group A play in the Emirates NBA Cup and a three-game homestand! I'll be live updating this page throughout the game.

The Cavs will be without Donovan Mitchell (left hamstring tightness) and Jarrett Allen (fractured left ring finger). They'll also be without Sam Merrill, who is dealing with a right hip contusion, in addition to Darius Garland and Max Strus.
Starters:
Raptors - Quickley, Barrett, Ingram, Barnes, Murray-Boyles
Cavs - Ball, Tyson, Hunter, Wade, Mobley
FIRST QUARTER
It is so easy to root for Jaylon Tyson. He's got an infectious attitude and dawg mentality. He opened the game with an errant pass, but hasn't looked back. He has a cutting poster dunk over RJ Barrett and two blocks already. Eight points and an assist early for JT.
It's 13-11 about five minutes in. Cleveland's got four offensive boards to this point..
Larry Nance Jr. and Craig Porter Jr. checked in at the timeout for Hunter and Wade. Proctor is coming in next for Lonzo Ball.
A pair of threes for Evan Mobley gives him eight points as well.
Hunter back in for Tyson. Wade for Mobley. If there's an area Cleveland is not excelling in right now, it's rim protection without Jarrett Allen. Raptors already have 16 points in the paint less than eight minutes in.
No one outside of Tyson and Mobley has a made field goal over nine minutes into the period. A combined 0 of 9. Hunter was the first to do it at the 1:55 mark.
How about Craig Porter Jr. with his hustle rebound and then helping Hunter force an eight-second violation the ensuing possession? Every night it's something!
Barnes had a good quarter outside of a pocket pass that got deflected by Wade.
END 1Q: Raptors 30, Cavs 22
TOR: Barrett 11p, 1a, stl. Barnes 9p, 2a, 1r.
CLE: Tyson 8p, 1r, 1a. Mobley 8p, 1r. Hunter 6p, 3r.
SECOND QUARTER
Thomas Bryant and Luke Travers in for their first non-garbage-time action of the season. Tyson back in as well. Nance, Hunter, and Wade off.
Raptors start the second on a 7-2 run and Atkinson wants a timeout less than two minutes into things. Toronto's drivers and cutters are getting past the Cavs this game with ease.
Travers hasn't hit his two attempts, but these Raptors are sure as heck feeling his presence. Tough screens being set. Nice back-to-basket feed to Tyson up top for three.
JT hit another from the corner on a Mobley feed. Cavs are trying to hang in there. JT and Mobley have a combined 24 of Cleveland's 30 four minutes into the period. Raptors are up 40-30.
That was a positive shift from Luke Travers. CP also blocked the heck out of a Quickley lay-up attempt with numbers.
The wine-and-gold are scrapping in this game. Don't know what that was with Dean Wade and Brandon Ingram scrambling for a loose ball, but he did a heck of a job contesting with verticality and the Cavs got a swing-swing three from Hunter, who has 11 points now. Cleveland is down 43-25 with 4:23 to go until half.
Every time Mobley has caught the ball anywhere near the paint, six Raptors arms are reaching in to disrupt him. He needs to be stronger with the ball and can't be as finicky with it when he catches it.
Hunter's clearly listening to the pod. After a bunch of three-balls, he's starting to put it on the deck. Dribble pull-ups and rim pressure are a good thing! Then, of crouse, Dre steps back from right to left to drill a trey over a contesting Barrett. Cavs down 48-43 at halftime.
Barnes had the opposite quarter for Toronto. He missed a lot of shots and forced too much.
HALF: Raptors 48, Cavs 43
TOR: Ingram 8p, 6r, 2a. Barnes 9p, 4r, 4a. Barrett 11p, 2stl, 1a. Mamukelashvili 7p, 2r 1a. Murray-Boyle 6p, 3r.
CLE: Hunter 16p, 5r, blk. Tyson 14p, 2a, 1r. Mobley 10p, 2r, 2a.
THIRD QUARTER
Lonzo opens the half with a three off a screen from the left wing, then strips Ingram to force a turnover. That was only Ball's third shot attempt, so let's see if he takes a few more tonight. Cleveland can use the scoring.
After a Tyson two-hand slam on the break from Zo, the Cavs have started the half on a 9-0 run in the first 1:46 and reclaimed the lead, 52-48.
Toronto takes out Murray-Boyles and Quickley for Mamu and Jamal Shead to try and stop the bleeding.
The Cavs regulars are up on their feet buzzing over Cleveland's fiery to start the second half. There's been four or five Toronto turnovers forced. The Raptors are being sped up because of it. Game's been flipped to 64-54 midway through.
Darko Rajakovic going to Ingram plus the bench bunch now. Jamison Battle just entered two minutes ago and hit two corner threes.
Make it three. Ohio State Buckeye fans are probably at least cracking a smirk. Raptors have cut it to 67-65 with 4:41 left in the third.
Quick thought: When's the last time Lonzo, Nance, and Ingram were all in the same building for an NBA game? Los Angeles Lakers reunion.
Cavs starters will likely play most of the fourth, maybe like the last eight or nine minutes straight. Kenny Atkinson's done a heck of a job with his substitution patterns this evening.
Toronto ended with a run and retook an 81-77 lead.
END 3Q: Raptors 81, Cavs 77
TOR: Barrett 18p, 1r, 1a, 2stl, blk. Ingram 11p, 8r, 4a, 2stl. Barnes 11p, 5r, 4a. Mamukelashvili 9p, 4r, 2a, blk. Battle 9p, 1r.
CLE: Hunter 23p, 5r, 2a, blk. Mobley 18p, 5r, 2a, stl. Tyson 18p, 4a, 3blk, 2r. Ball 8p, 5a, 4r, stl. Porter 5p, 3r, 1a, stl, blk.
FOURTH QUARTER
Travers is giving the Cavs those "play hard" minutes and I'm here for it. Also, Mobley's gotta get stronger hands in tight windows.
Crucial two-way sequence from Proctor! Stripped Barnes on a DHO and then finished on his own with a flush.
There's Mobley's handle. He crossed up Ingram for an easy drive after ward.
Porter has been invaluable with his hustle. Another offensive board in a crucial scenario. Cavs just can't make their free throws, unfortunately. Thomas Bryant had the and-one, too. It's 90-86 Cleveland with 6:50 remaining.
Long rebounds and second chances costing the Cavs again. After holding Toronto off the boards in the first half, the Cavs have allowed a bunch of offensive rebounds that have cost them 18 total points.
Everybody who drives on the Cavs looks to spray out instead of going up with it. Keeping it simple, even with multiple bodies there, is okay! Cleveland down 98-94 with 2:53 remaining.
Jamison Battle nails his fifth and sixth triples of the night, and Lonzo Ball misses a layup trying to push down the floor quickly. Toronto's gonna take this one over the Cavs.
FINAL: Raptors 112, Cavs 101.
