Just a few weeks after the Cleveland Cavaliers announced theirs, the Cleveland Charge revealed their official schedule for the 2025-26 G League season.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Charge unveiled the franchise's matchups between November and April, including the 14 Tip-Off Tournament contests and 34 regular-season meetings.
Seventeen of the team's 24 home games will be on weekends, with just one game on a Sunday vs. the Capital City Go-Go on March 8, 2026.
Cleveland's longest homestand will be March 3-18, while its longest road trip will come Jan. 7-24. To commence that trip, for the first time in the organization's history, the Charge will head down to Mexico City to face the Capitanes.
The Charge start things off on the road with a three-game trip, first with a back-to-back against the Iowa Wolves on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. Then, after a mid-week meeting with the Motor City Cruise, Cleveland will return to Public Hall for its home opening weekend vs. the Wisconsin Herd.
According to the league's press release, the season-opening Tip-Off Tournament will crown a champion in December at the G League Winter Showcase in Orlando, Florida. It consists of four different regions where teams will play against each other exclusively.
The Charge are in the Central region along with the Grand Rapids Gold, Iowa Wolves, Motor City Cruise, Noblesville Boom, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Windy City Bulls, Wisconsin Herd, and the newly rebranded Noblesville Boom.
As the G League specifies, the team with the top winning percentage in each region will advance to compete for the tournament title. The following four teams with the best winning percentages, regardless of region, will also have the opportunity to win the championship in Orlando.
No matter what happens, each G League team will play at least two games at the event. Once the Winter Showcase wraps up, each team's record will reset, and a 34-game regular season will commence.
Regular season competition begins with a three-game homestand on Dec. 27, when the Charge host the Delaware Blue Coats, followed by the Herd and Long Island Nets.
For the first time in league history, the top eight regular-season teams in each conference will qualify for the G League playoffs. The G League Finals are scheduled for April 2026.
Coming off a 16-18 campaign under the departing Chris Darnell, new head coach Eli Kell-Abrams will look to guide the Charge to their first winning season since 2022-23.
