The Los Angeles Clippers entered the 2025-26 season with a team filled with veteran talent. While injury concerns typically follow a veteran team, players like Brook Lopez and Chris Paul were coming off seasons where they both played at least 80 games. Factor in Kawhi Leonard having a healthy offseason, expectations were set high, but it's looked rough so far.
While the season is far from over, the Clippers fell to 4-9 on the season after suffering a 121-118 loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Despite a 37-point performance from James Harden, the team struggled to produce around him as they continue onward with their seven-game road trip. Unfortunately, Sunday's contest came with some more bumps and bruises.

Clippers announce that Derrick Jones Jr. has a right knee injury and will not return.
Clippers forwards Derrick Jones Jr. and Jordan Miller both left Sunday's contests with injuries, as both players failed to return to action. Jones Jr. suffered a right knee injury after logging 11 minutes of action for the Clippers, while Miller sustained a left hamstring injury after 11 minutes of action as well.
While Jones Jr. and Miller aren't star players, the Clippers continue to take hits to their depth at a time when they can't afford to be without their rotation pieces. Jones Jr. has started in all 13 appearances for the Clippers this season, as he entered Sunday's contest shooting 54% from the field.

Clippers announce Jordan Miller has a left hamstring injury and will not return.
As for Miller, the Clippers' second-round pick in 2023, he made a statement in his first game of the season during the team's loss to the Denver Nuggets, scoring 22 points on 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc. He's been in the rotation since that game, but now could be sidelined.
If Jones Jr. and Miller aren't ready to go Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Clippers could be down three of their top wings if Kawhi Leonard remains sidelined for the second half of this Clippers back-to-back.

Clippers suffer a tough loss in Boston. Battled back after getting down 24, but fall 121-118.
James Harden had 37/8/7. Absolutely carried again and just missed a potential game-tying three at the buzzer.
LA is 4-9. Philly tomorrow.
The Clippers dealing with these injuries wouldn't be as bad if they had control of their first-round pick, but their 2026 pick is the final one that the Oklahoma City Thunder will receive from the 2019 Paul George trade. Therefore, there's only one option for the Clippers: try to win games.
Tip-off in Philadelphia on Monday is set for 7:00 p.m. EST, as the struggling Clippers will be tasked with slowing down the 76ers' electric backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and rookie standout VJ Edgecombe.
