After weeks of waiting, the LA Clippers finally snapped their six-game losing streak on Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks. However, it took two overtimes against a struggling Mavericks team for LA to put it away, as they nearly collapsed multiple times.
Now, the Clippers continue their seven-game road trip as they face off against another depleted team in the Boston Celtics. However, the Celtics have way more depth than the Dallas Mavericks did, with an overall record of 6-7.
The LA Clippers still have multiple key players listed on their injury report as they hope to gain momentum on Sunday.
Kawhi Leonard is listed as out with a right ankle sprain and still has not played a game since November 3 against the Miami Heat. Bradley Beal is out due to a left hip fracture and will remain out until the end of the season. Jahmyl Telfort is out due to a G League two-way.

With the shorthanded roster, younger players on the Clippers like Jordan Miller are looking to use the opportunity to step up.
“Yeah, I mean, to say I'm not, would just be a lie," Miller said on Wednesday about being excited. "You know, next man up mentality. Just stack games, stack games, you know what I'm saying? Just go out there and try to be as consistent as possible and just see what the team needs.”
The Boston Celtics have four players listed on their injury report: Jayson Tatum, Ron Harper Jr., Max Shulga, and Amari Williams.
Jayson Tatum is out due to right Achilles repair and is likely expected to be out for the whole season. Ron Harper Jr., Max Shulga, and Amari Williams are all out due to being in a G League two-way. Jaylen Brown and the rest of the team's starters will all be available to play against LA.

After starting the season at a rough patch with a 0-3 start, the Celtics have started finding their groove as of late. Most recently, they dominated the Memphis Grizzlies 131-95 on Wednesday. Shockingly, the team has not played since then and will be very well-rested against a Clippers team that won't be.
If LA had Kawhi Leonard available, this could have been a game they may have been favored in, but without him, it's going to take everything they have. With that in mind, it's still a game that the Clippers can't afford to lose with their 4-8 record.
