Ja Morant is giving Grizzlies fans an early December boost, rolling out a 250-fan ticket giveaway and a special $12 ticket promotion ahead of Memphis’ home game against the Utah Jazz on Friday.
The team announced that Morant will distribute pairs of tickets to 250 fans at FedExForum on Wednesday at 2 p.m. CT. The event will take place inside the arena’s Grand Lobby and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two tickets per adult.
The organization detailed how the giveaway will work in its official announcement.
“Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant is treating 250 fans with a pair of tickets to the game on Friday, 12/12, at 7 p.m. CT against the Utah Jazz. Tickets will be given away Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. inside the Grand Lobby of FedExForum on a first-come, first-serve basis (limit of two tickets per adult),” the team said.
Fans who do not secure one of the free ticket pairs will still have access to discounted seats as part of the Grizzlies’ “12/12” theme night. Tickets will be available for as low as $12 at grizzlies.com/twelve or at the FedExForum box office. Those attending Wednesday’s event can also receive 12% off regularly priced items at the Grizzlies Den, with the discount unavailable on already marked-down merchandise.
The team included the additional details in a continuation of its release.
“For fans who miss out, the Grizzlies will be offering tickets as low as $12 for Memphis’ game on Friday, 12/12, online at grizzlies.com/twelve or at the FedExForum Box Office,” the announcement stated. “Fans at the event can also take advantage of 12% off all regularly priced items at the Grizzlies Den and cannot be combined with other discounted items.”
The promotion arrives at a moment when the franchise is leaning into fan engagement during a busy December stretch. Memphis will also bring Grizz and the Claw Crew into the Grand Lobby on Wednesday for photo opportunities and additional surprises tied to the giveaway.
Morant’s presence in the team’s community efforts has remained a focal point, and Friday offers a chance for fans to reconnect with the two-time All-Star during a marquee home matchup. He has appeared in 12 games this season and is averaging 17.9 points, 7.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 28.8 minutes.
The Grizzlies enter the week at 11-13 and continue to look for ways to energize crowds early in the season. Friday’s initiative, built around Morant’s No. 12, is designed to make the game more accessible both for longtime season-ticket holders and for fans seeking an opportunity to return to FedExForum.
