The Pistons travel to Boston tonight for a matchup that immediately appears like a playoff preview. With the Celtics up to 3rd place in the Eastern Conference after a slow start to the season, Boston has played quality basketball lately with Jaylen Brown lighting it up on a nightly basis. Brown is averaging north of 33 points per game in the month of December, so the Celtics' All-Star wing player is in great form at the moment.

For Detroit, the Pistons are currently riding a three-game winning streak and are back at full strength from a depth perspective for the first time this season. With Tobias Harris back for the Pistons' most recent game against the Hawks last Friday, Detroit spread the ball around in what was a massive 27-point win. The Pistons tied an NBA record with 12 players scoring at least seven points in the contest, and Detroit is looking like one of the deepest squads in the league.

The Pistons and the Celtics played a game that went down to the wire the day before Thanksgiving with Boston collecting a three-point win in the NBA Cup. So, Detroit will be looking to pick up a little bit of revenge tonight on the road with tip-off slated for 7 pm.
