    This is pretty crazy.

It appears San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama got taller this offseason.

Wembanyama is being listed at 7'4", which is one inch taller than he was listed last season.

Wembanyama had a great summer. Not only did he recover from the blood clot in his shoulder, but Wembanyama also did world-class training.

According to Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Wembanyama did C-L-A this offseason. C-L-A stands for Constraints-Led Approach.

"The CLA, which stands for Constraints-Led Approach, is a method of learning that has made its way from academia to the mainstream and draws from innovative research in psychology and neuroscience. It replaces traditional block training, where an athlete learns a single movement pattern step-by-step and, instead, places them in game-like situations with special rules that force them to adapt their moves on the fly. It’s founded on the principle that training perfectly yields imperfect results."

Along with C-L-A, Wembanyama did kung fu training at a Shaolin temple in China. He also worked out with Kevin Garnett and Jamal Crawford.

The Spurs drafted Wembanyama with the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Wembanyama appeared in 71 games during his rookie season. He averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.6 blocks and won the Rookie of the Year Award.

Wembanyama made his first All-Star team last season. He averaged 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.8 blocks.

One of the top players in the NBA, Wembanyama has led the league in blocks per game and total blocks for two consecutive seasons. It wouldn't shock anyone if Wembanyama wins multiple Defensive Player of the Year Awards during his career.

Wembanyama has career averages of 22.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.7 blocks. The Spurs haven’t made the playoffs since 2019, but they have a bright future with Wembanyama, De'Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell and Dylan Harper leading the way.
