The Golden State Warriors will be without one of their star veterans Tuesday night vs the Phoenix Suns

The Golden State Warriors started off the 2025-26 season red hot, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, making many believe they were in the driver's seat for chasing a fifth NBA title for Steph Curry. However, it's been rocky since, with the Warriors going 2-3 since their first two games of the year.

Coming off back-to-back losses on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, they'll look to get back in the win column when they play host to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Phoenix underwent major changes in the offseason, parting ways with Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, and the Warriors will be seeking their fifth win of the year.

    Warriors Injury Report

Golden State has already played in two back-to-backs through seven games this season, and will play the first leg of their third back-to-back against the Suns on Tuesday. With that being said, the Warriors have ruled out the 39-year-old Al Horford, as he's listed with left toe injury management on Golden State's official injury report.

Horford has appeared in five games this season for the Warriors, averaging 5.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and is shooting only 37.9% from the field. A rough start to his 19th season in the NBA, Golden State will be hoping Horford can look more like the version of himself from 2023-24 that shot 41.9% from beyond the arc and helped lead the Boston Celtics to an NBA Finals victory.

As for the rest of the injury report, guard De'Anthony Melton remains OUT as he deals with his recovery from tearing his ACL with Golden State last season. Melton played just six games before tearing his ACL, and was eventually traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Dennis Schroder.

A smart business move at the time, Melton has since rejoined the Warriors on a two-year deal, and he'll hope to recreate that early-season momentum he had last year before going down. In those six games he played, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for Golden State.

While the Warriors have been slumping as of late, the Suns will enter Tuesday's contest on a two-game winning streak, defeating the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs at home. Devin Booker is playing some of his best basketball right now, averaging 30.0 points and 7.4 assists per game on 51.1/45.7/83.6 splits.

Tip-off at Chase Center in San Francisco is set for 10:00 p.m. EST.
