In exciting news for Alabama fans—two key starters are officially back.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have received two huge injury updates heading into their matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs. Junior running back Jam Miller and redshirt senior defensive lineman Tim Keenan III will both return to action this Saturday as the Crimson Tide travel to Athens to face the Bulldogs in their SEC opener.

Miller, one of the Tide’s most explosive offensive weapons, and Keenan, a battle-tested anchor on the defensive line, bring instant firepower and leadership on both sides of the ball.

Their return couldn’t come at a better time, as Alabama looks to make a statement in one of the toughest environments in college football. With the SEC opener up next against the Georgia Bulldogs, the Crimson Tide will welcome two proven starters back into the lineup, giving the team a much-needed boost of energy, depth, and experience.

For Miller, the timing of his return is especially exciting. The junior running back has been sidelined with an upper-body injury since Alabama’s second preseason scrimmage, leaving fans eager to see him back on the field.

Miller’s breakout 2024 season gave the Crimson Tide a spark in the run game, as he rushed for 668 yards and seven touchdowns. He showcased a rare blend of power between the tackles and breakaway speed in the open field, making himself one of Alabama’s most versatile offensive weapons.

His ability to keep defenses honest and create explosive plays makes his return one of the biggest storylines heading into Saturday’s clash.

On the defensive side, Tim Keenan III’s return is equally important. The redshirt senior has been a steady presence for Alabama’s front, known for his toughness, discipline, and reliability in the trenches.

In 2024, he recorded 40 tackles and 2.5 sacks, proving his ability to disrupt the backfield and anchor the defensive line. Over his career, Keenan has compiled 79 tackles and 3.5 sacks, steadily improving each season. His leadership and physicality will be crucial against Georgia, a team built on strength in the run game.

With Keenan back in the rotation, Alabama’s defense gains a veteran presence ready to battle in the heart of SEC competition.

The Crimson Tide faces the Georgia Bulldog, this Saturday, September 27th, at 6:30 PM CT.
