
Fresh off a 31-15 win over South Alabama to improve to 3-0, the No. 22 Auburn Tigers will look to get conference play started on a high note by picking up a road win over the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday afternoon.
South Alabama is 3-0 on the season and coming into this contest after beating Illinois State 35-3 at home last week.
The Tigers will be looking to improve to 4-0 in year three under head coach Hugh Freeze and earn their first win over a ranked opponent on the road since 2021.

This will be the fourth-ever meeting between Auburn and Oklahoma. The Tigers are still looking for their frist win in the series. The Sooners earned a 40-22 win over the Tigers in the 1972 Sugar Bowl. Baker Mayfield led Oklahoma to a 35-19 victory over Auburn in the 2017 Sugar Bowl. Oklahoma won its first matchup against Auburn as an SEC team 27-21 in Jordan-Hare Stadium a year ago.
