Look, I get it, Darryn Peterson wasn't paying for Kansas, but coming out and beating them by 12 points and essentially dominating the entire game just goes to show that Duke might be the best team in America.

Currently the No. 5-ranked team in the AP poll, I was so impressed with how Duke handled business at Madison Square Garden.

It was really a team effort from Duke, too, but Cameron Boozer once again led the way, showing that he might be the best freshman in America.

I was also very impressed with Isaiah Evans and his 16 points, but Boozer finished the night with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

While Kansas might have been without its best player, and might not be the same program it typically is already with two losses, after falling to UNC by 13 points in the second game of its season, there were a lot of positives to take away from this win.

When speaking to reporters after the game, it sounds like some of the coaches in the Duke locker room were very happy with the way their team performed.

"Just the moments we've been in, I think they've shown great toughness and great poise," head coach Jon Scheyer said, per Anna Snyder of the Fayetteville Observer. "And those are the situations to be in, especially if it's your first time in the Garden, like some of these guys, or if it's your second or third, you need to show great poise and togetherness, and I thought that, especially down the stretch, with some of those plays you mentioned, we just showed great poise, I think that's what it's all about."

Scheyer has continued to say all of the right things during his time at Duke, and this just goes to show what he's building at the University.

Duke has been built on passion and togetherness over the past many decades, and will have to continue doing that in the foreseeable future.

The start of the season has been as great as anybody could’ve imagined, and I really do believe this is just the beginning of something special.

Duke is elite, and I expect it to continue winning games at the highest level.
