Kansas football is set to visit the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday for its first meeting since the Wildcats joined the conference. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2. Kansas (5-4, 3-3 Big 12) is coming off a 38-21 win over Oklahoma State, while Arizona (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) is coming off a win over Colorado and is 4-1 at home this season. Here are three things the Jayhawks must do to pull off the upset.

Get Arizona QB Noah Fifita Out Of Rhythm

Kansas will have no business winning this game if Fifita has all the time he wants and can sit in the pocket and carve the Jayhawks' defense. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and if he has time, his receivers will get open and torch any secondary. Fifita has passed for over 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns this season; the stats speak for themselves.

The only way this Jayhawks secondary can contain Fifita is with the help of their pass rush. Kansas must get him out of rhythm and speed up his game, or else he will carve this defense all game long. The Kansas pass rush has to show up big time for any chance at a Jayhawks upset.

    Start Fast On The Road

Starting fast is key in any football game, but it is especially important on the road. Kansas is traveling a distance west for this one, and the Wildcats will for sure have home-field advantage in this one. Starting fast will be key for Kansas to keep the crowd quiet from the jump. Kansas cannot be afraid to take some early shots to take the crowd out of the game. Coming out of the gate slowly has been a problem recently for this Kansas team, but that can’t be the case today.

Keep The Game Within Striking Distance

Arizona’s last two losses have been by a combined six points, and one of them was an overtime loss vs. BYU. The Wildcats have only won one one-score game, and that was back on Sep. 12 when they beat Kansas State 23-17.  If Kansas can keep this game close until the end, it can surely find a way to pull off the road upset. Arizona has not played well in close games recently, but blowing opponents out has been the style. If this doesn’t get out of hand, Kansas could come away with a win in the fourth quarter.

Find out if Kansas can pull off the road upset today at Arizona on ESPN2 with kickoff scheduled for 2:30.
