    1st Quarter

    • Braelin Moore was injured early in the game. The last thing you want to see in this type of game is an injury to a major contributor. DJ Chester will slide over from guard to center.
    • And now there's an interception on an underthrown ball that was deflected. It would have been a touchdown to Barion Brown if the pass had been hit.
    • Now tackle Weston Davis is down, along with a Louisiana Tech defender. That's two starting offensive linemen down for the Tigers in the first six minutes of game time.
    • Damian Ramos misses the go-ahead field goal, but wait, LSU called a timeout right before he kicked to give him another chance. Then Ramos missed the follow-up.
    • Zavion Thomas is working in the run game again! He bursts for a 48-yard game to get the Tigers in striking distance.
    • LSU finally opens up the scoring with a Nussmeier pass to Nic Anderson for six! LSU up 7-0.

    Second Quarter

    • The Tigers' defense has remained stout. Whit Weeks is standing out, as well as the continued blitzing of cornerbacks.
    • Run blocking has left a lot to be desired in this one.
    • Back-to-back pass interference penalties has LSU in striking distance.
    • Offense stalls in the red zone, but Ramos finally puts a field goal through the uprights. LSU is up 10-0.
    • A fourth pass interference called on the Bulldogs in this half.
    • The Tigers' offensive line has not been able to hang in this one, either in pass protection or run blocking. A sack will pretty much seal heading into halftime with it being 10-0.

    Third Quarter

    • Defense picks up where it left off and forces a punt.
    • The big play through the air finally comes as Nussmeier hits Aaron Anderson for 23-yards.
    • Brown then comes through with a big run to get the offense rolling. His speed is something else.
    • LSU stalls and decides to punt it away after a delay of game, likely knocking them out of field goal range.
    • The Tigers will start their next drive at the Louisiana Tech 33 yard line after a 25-yard punt.
    • Caden Durham finds the end zone to cap off the advantageous drive for the LSU offense. Tigers up 17-0.

    Fourth Quarter

    • Trey'Dez Green went down on the field. He was able to walk off, but didn't look too comfortable.
    • Good to see Nussmeier and Anderson picking up steam again. Looks like that connection will be crucial for the offense this year.
    • Ugly coverage sack taken by Nussmeier and a nine-yard loss makes it a tougher attempt for Ramos.
    • Ramos drills a 46-yarder to put LSU up by three more, Tigers now up 20-0.
    • Busted coverage with LSU selling out for a sack leads to the Tigers allowing their first touchdown in six quarters. Tigers still up 20-7.
    • Harlem Berry breaks off a 43-yard run, which sets LSU up in goal-to-go.
    • The run defense failed to get any push yet again as the Tigers have to settle for a field goal. LSU up 23-7.
    • Final Score: LSU 23 - LA Tech 7.
