The LSU Tigers remained undefeated against the Florida Gators with another dominant defensive performance in the 20-10 victory.

It was a mix of players everyone expected to lead them to victory this season and a few performers that were massive surprises.

Pro Football Focus has released their updated grades from this past weekend's game and the top performers were pretty much to be expected for anyone who watched the game, outside of maybe one player:

    S Dashawn Spears - 99.9

Spears had an incredibly limited time to make an impact in this game with just nine. He made just about every single one of them count, though.

The sophomore out of Denham Springs was targeted three times and allowed just one catch for two yards. The other two targets were both intercepted, one brought back over 50 yards for a touchdown.

It would be hard for them to bench one of the other safeties, who are performing well, to find Spears more snaps. It would also be hard to justify not giving him more chances after that outing.

    CB Mansoor Delane - 81.8

Delane is a copy and paste type of player in these lists. He will probably always be there. It has already gotten to the point to where he is exceeding what were lofty expectations to begin with.

The former Virginia Tech Hokies standout was targeted six times and allowed just two catches for 11 yards. He also logged a pass breakup.

Opposing quarterbacks are now just 4-of-18 when targeting Delane on the field. Logic would say to look somewhere else on the field, but the results aren't much better.

    QB Garrett Nussmeier - 76.9

Many Tigers fans would be surprised to see Nussmeier near the top when considering the lack of explosiveness on offense, but the quarterback has done a good enough job of operating a more conservative approach.

The offense only called for three passes over 20 yards in this game. He completed two of them for 88 yards and a touchdown. The only place where he really struggled was on four throws over the middle of the field and middling depth with one completion.

    DB AJ Haulcy - 73.0

Haulcy is another player with lofty expectations coming in from the Houston Cougars, but he has done a good job thus far.

He came down with an interception and allowed just five yards after the catch, but did give up five catches for 40 yards.

The 21-year-old was a thumper in the run game this week, stepping up for five steps, second on the team only to West Weeks.
