There were some questions about which version of Carson Beck the Miami Hurricanes would get upon his arrival from the transfer portal. Despite seeing a lack of production from the quarterback last season with Georgia, there was no denying his potential. However, a UCL injury during the SEC championship game against Texas resulted in a withdrawal from the NFL draft. Beck then transferred to Miami to prove that he's still an elite quarterback.

Three games into the season, the redshirt senior has quickly emerged as a Heisman candidate, leading the Hurricanes to a 3-0 record, along with a couple of wins against ranked teams. Beck has completed 65 of 83 passes, 78.3 percent, for 812 yards and eight total touchdowns. He may not be leading in any statistical category, but he continues to impact winning.

Beck made the wise decision to return for another year of college football and pick up where he left off, rather than to gamble in the big leagues. So far this season, he's excelled in passing yards after each game. Last Saturday against the South Florida Bulls, Beck delivered a magnificent performance: completing 23 of 28 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns.

All the victories and spectacular performances are also impacting his future at the next level.

According to a report, Beck is "rising faster" on NFL draft boards as a quarterback prospect.

It's still early in the NFL season to have a clear understanding of where teams may fall in the draft order and what their needs are. However, here are some potential spots that could be eyeing a quarterback such as Beck.

    New York Giants

The New York Giants are in an odd situation with their quarterback room. They currently have former Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson as the starter. He's under a one-year contract, as is veteran quarterback Jameis Winston. The Giants did draft a quarterback in the first round of this year's draft in Jaxson Dart, but the organization would benefit from adding another young talent in Beck.

The Giants are just beginning the reset from the failed Daniel Jones era. However, they might not fully understand what exactly they have in Dart until later in the season. The potential is there, but potential doesn't develop on the sidelines. Beck would be a phenomenal talent on the Giants' roster if drafted to New York.

    Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are in a similar situation to the Giants. They brought in a couple of new veteran quarterbacks in Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett, who are also not long-term pieces. The Raiders have a great and talented rookie running back in Ashton Jeanty, along with a promising tight end in Brock Bowers, who finished second in Offensive Rookie of the Year last season. All that is missing is a quarterback that fits their timeline.

Last week, Smith finished with a terrible performance against the Los Angeles Chargers. He completed 24 of 43 passes, 55.8 percent, three interceptions, and no touchdowns. Unacceptable, especially for a veteran quarterback.

The Raiders will need to look for a quarterback who fits their future and Beck might be the perfect candidate.

    Cleveland Browns

Despite drafting two quarterbacks in this year's draft, the Cleveland Browns may still be on the hunt for a future quarterback. There's a level of uncertainty surrounding Dillon Gabriel and Sheduer Sanders. The Browns are currently starting veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, but given his age, there may come a point when he'll be watching games from the sidelines. The Browns don't entirely know what they have in their rookies, but if neither proves to be a reliable future piece, they won't shy away from drafting a quarterback in next year's draft.

Beck would immediately bring hope to the Browns fan base, who are desperately seeking a quarterback to uplift the franchise from its misery.

More teams could emerge in the search for a quarterback in next year's draft, such as the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and New York Jets.

Beck will continue to build his draft stock the more he delivers spectacular performances throughout the Hurricanes' season.
