NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Missouri Tigers have landed the commitment of three-star cornerback Ahmod Billins just under two hours ahead of kickoff against Vanderbilt, Per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Billins is the No. 79 ranked athlete and the No. 1007 ranked overall player in the class of 2026. He's projected to play cornerback for the Tigers – a positional need given the impending departures of Stephen Hall, Toriano Pride Jr. and Drey Norwood in the near future. He's the first athlete to commit to Mizzou since CJ Bass III, a current freshman safety for the Tigers.
The Alabama native held interest from 13 other schools including Florida, Arkansas and Colorado, but ultimately chose Missouri. Billings celebrated his 18th birthday on the day of his commitment, just one day after playing in the regional championship for Edgewood Academy High School.
This marks Missouri's fourth consecutive gameday weekend landing a new commit, with Tajh Overton the weekend of Auburn, Johnnie Jones and Brysen Wessel the weekend of Alabama, and Micah Nickerson the weekend of Massachusetts.
He brings Mizzou's 2026 recruiting class to 20 players, but is the first cornerback of the bunch. Mizzou's class of 2026 is ranked No. 27 in the nation, per 247 composite. The class is headlined by 3-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar, along with a four-star linemen on each side of the ball and four-star running back Terry Hodges.

Eli Drinkwitz has been on a recruiting heater, shooting Missouri up from outside the top 60 in most rankings to now a consensus top-40 recruiting class. Missouris secondary has struggled in recent weeks, allowing big plays to break loose against Ty Simpson's Crimson Tide and Jackson Arnold's Tigers.
Billins projects to add solid rotational depth upon his eventual arrival, joining three other defensive backs in Missouri's 2026 class.
