The Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast Reacts to Rumor-Filled Bye Week for UNC Football Program

Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Tar Heel Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here is what is in store on this week’s special pod:

Chaotic open date. The headlines seemed to be endless while the Tar Heels were off last week. Between a Drake Maye social media ban, a documentary series being scrapped, an assistant coach being suspended and reports of UNC's administration considering exit strategies for Bill Belichick, there is a lot of ground to cover.
Is this the end for Bill? Whether it's sooner or later this season, the podcast discusses what chances there are for Belichick to return for a second year in 2026. Especially given some of the coaching moves that were made over the weekend, the conversation is timely.
Five-game evaluation. The Tar Heels are 2-3. They've lost by at least 25 points in all three of their matchups with Power 4 competition. Graham and Dalton dig into the most disappointing aspects of the UNC football product.
Westward bound Heels. The next game on UNC's schedule will be the program's first-ever trip to California for an ACC conference game. The Tar Heels and Bears will meet on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 10:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
ACC Tip-Off nuggets. During last week's trip to ACC basketball media days, there was a lot of discussion about the Tar Heels. More specifically, there's a lot of hype surrounding international transfer Luka Bogavac.

In addition to the Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina.

Both have covered UNC football and basketball for multiple years. In the professional ranks, they will produce content focusing on the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets as well.
