The Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast Recaps UNC's Opener with Central Arkansas and Bill Belichick Getting His First ACC Win on the Road at Syracuse.
Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Tar Heel Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here is what is in store on this week’s pod:
- Freed Luka. About an hour before UNC's opener against Central Arkansas, Hubert Davis got the news that Luka Bogavac had officially been cleared by the university to play. It's the conclusion of what was an extremely weird situation, but one that the Tar Heels desperately needed to get figured out.
- Perfect Opener. Between the situation with Luka being figured out and Caleb Wilson's debut 22 point performance, this blowout win was exactly what the Tar Heels needed to do against an opponent like Central Arkansas. In games in the past like this, the Tar Heels have not won them as easily when they should have.
- Here Comes Kansas. Kansas will make their first ever trip to the Smith Center on Friday night to play the Tar Heels. Will Roy Williams be in attendance? Which team will he be supporting or will he dress neutral? Kansas comes in ranked 19th, while the Tar Heels are ranked 25th.
- Orange Crushed. The Tar Heels and Bill Belichick got their first ACC win at the dome on Halloween night. It was a bit of a slow first half performance, but in the second half the Heels, and specifically Demon June, turned on the jets to coast to a 27-10 win.
- Belichick vs. Reich. Two coaches that have Super Bowls on their resumes. Obviously one of them as a head coach and significantly more of them, but still a cool angle to a lower tier ACC game. UNC comes in favored for the first time against a power opponent this year and with a chance to stack their first win streak of the year.
In addition to the Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina.
Both have covered UNC football and basketball for multiple years. In the professional ranks, they will produce content focusing on the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets as well.
Roundtable would love to engage with you on the Tar Heels. Please comment on our posts and follow Graham (@JoshGrahamShow) and Dalton (@TheWillDalton) on X and Instagram.
