Julius Wilson, WR, Owasso, OK commits to Oklahoma State

Julius Wilson, a 2026 wide receiver from Owasso, OK, has committed to Oklahoma State on Thursday evening, November 6th, which was confirmed with a tweet and media graphic from his X account, around 5:30PM CST. There were prior reports late night Wednesday and early Thursday morning.

The 6’4 – 190 pound, Owasso, OK prospect, Julius Wilson received an Oklahoma State offer on October 21st. The offer came after Wilson received offers from Texas Tech and Towson.

The offer to the Ram wideout comes after Oklahoma State lost a few commits from the same Owasso High School football teamthat Wilson is a part of, notably being, now, Mizzou commit, Tajh Overton.

The potential stout outside receiving threat, Wilson, also plays for the Owasso Rams basketball program and plays point guard for the Rams. Julius Wilson plans to make his way to Stillwater with his basketball teammate, number 44 nationally ranked, Oklahoma State basketball commit, Jalen Montonati. Wonder if Cowboy head coach, Steve Lutz, also took a look at Wilson or if Montonati influenced him in any way?

The Julius Wilson commitment comes a couple days after Berryhill, OK offensive lineman, Aiden Martin, recommitted to Oklahoma State. The Cowboys’ class ranks 121st nationally and is 16th in the Big 12. No surprise, after losing many commits post-Gundy firing. Though, the recent commitment and recommitment offers Poke fans a bit of hope.

Oklahoma State’s 2026 recruitment class now sits at eight total commits after Wilson’s pledge. We looked at Aiden Martin and his recommitment yesterday. Let’s take a look at the six other commitments.
