While the Vols took this week off, the SEC continues to move forward with six more scheduled games this Saturday.

The Georgia Bulldogs will be without a few playmakers on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Starkville for a meeting in week 11 against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

    No. 5 Georgia (7-1, 5-1) vs Mississippi State (5-4, 1-4)

According to the SEC Student-Athelete availability report for the week, Georgia will be lacking four separate playmakers, two on the offense and two on the defense. Defensive back Kyron Jones and defensive lineman Jordan Hall are both out; the two have combined this season for 36 tackles.

Offensively, they’ll need to find more production from other receivers as Colbie Young is also out for the game. Young has posted 23 receptions for 336 yards in his senior year.

The Bulldogs have won four straight conference games after losing a home contest to Alabama in late September. While it hasn’t always been a pretty four-game win streak, Georgia handled business and should be able to again against Mississippi State. Georgia 34, Mississippi State 18

The Citadel (4-5) vs No. 6 Ole Miss (8-1, 5-1)

Freshly ranked No. 6 in the initial college football playoff rankings, Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels have been nothing short of impressive with big back-to-back wins over South Carolina and Oklahoma.

Trinidad Chambliss has completely revised the Rebels' offense this season, using his arm and his legs to make things happen. This season, Chambliss has 2,023 passing yards along with 435 rushing yards.

There shouldn’t be much resistance at home for the Rebels, unless they allow it to happen. They finish their season at home against Florida before taking on Mississippi State for the season finale.  Ole Miss 53, The Citadel 13

    No. 3 Texas A&M (8-0, 5-0) vs No. 22 Mizzou (6-2, 2-2)

The first and only ranked conference matchup of the weekend, Mizzou has dropped a handful of spots after losing two of its last three contests to fellow conference opponents such as Vanderbilt and Alabama.

To add insult to injury, Mizzou’s starting quarterback, Beau Pribula, is out due to an ankle injury he suffered against Vanderbilt. Without Pribula, taking on a team with talent like A&M is not an easy challenge.

Marcel Reed continues to carve defenses with the help of his receiving corps, which includes Mario Craver and K.C. Concepcion. The Aggie Fireworks will continue to shoot as they ride their most successful season since 2012 with Johnny Manziel. Texas A&M 36, Mizzou 20

    Auburn (4-5, 1-5) vs No. 16 Vanderbilt (7-2, 3-2)

Both teams are coming off a tough loss, Auburn, which lost ot Kentucky at home while mustering just three points, which caused the school to fire its coach, Hugh Freeze, while Vanderbilt hurt its playoff hopes after losing 41-34 to Texas on the road.

Despite the loss, the Commodores still have good to build off of, and with just two losses, still have a fighting chance. Ashton Daniels took over the starting job for Jaxon Arnold last week before the loss for the Tigers; he remains the starter this week.

While the game could spell a trap for Vandebilt with the changes for Auburn, Diego Pavia should handle business in a bounce-back fashion. Vanderbilt 28, Auburn 17

    LSU (5-3, 2-3) vs No. 4 Alabama (7-1, 5-0)

In the Tigers' first official contest since firing Brian Kelly, the challenge couldn't be bigger as they take on the rival Crimson Tide on the road.

Since dropping their first and only loss of the year to Florida State, Kalen Deboer has had his team prepared and ready to go for every matchup, including big wins against four straight ranked conference teams.

Led by quarterback Ty Simpson, the Tide will continue to roll through their schedule against the Tigers.  Alabama 33, LSU 21

    Florida (3-5, 2-3) vs Kentucky (3-5, 1-4)

After putting up one of their strongest fights of the season, Quarterback DJ Lagway and the Florida Gators head to Lexington for a meeting against the struggling Wildcats.

The Wildcats earned their first conference win at the hands of Auburn last week, while the Gators have lost three of their last five games. Despite these trends, the Gators have the talent to take down the Wildcats, even with a handful of injuries affecting the offense, such as Eugene Wilson III and Dallas Wilson.

The Gators will need to be road warriors; in three contests, they have yet to win a single road match this season. Florida 27, Kentucky 18
