Achane ignites the Dolphins, Garrett dominates defensively, and rookie Scourton makes his mark. Aggie stars shine brightly in Week 10 NFL action.

Week 10 in the NFL did not disappoint. Stars from the league delivered, and Texas A&M alums were no exception.

Aggies De'Von Achane, Myles Garrett, Nic Scourton and Egerrin Cooper all showed off in their respective games.

On a weekend when Jonathan Taylor ripped 244 yards with three scores and George Kittle posted season highs in catches and yards, Aggies across the NFL landscape made sure the maroon imprint was just as loud.

The headliner was Achane, who looked exactly like the best back to roll out of College Station this century.

In Miami's 30-13 takedown of the Buffalo Bills, the 2023 third-rounder was the engine and the nitrous, hammering 22 carries for 174 yards and two scores, then twisted the proverbial knife in the chest of a Bills comeback with six catches for another 51 yards through the air.

When the Bills' defense shaded him to take away his speed, Achane doubled down. When Buffalo guarded the edges, Achane punctured the line of scrimmage for chunk plays.

It was a statement performance disguised as an Achane track meet.

On defense, the usual Aggies suspects showed up.

Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett logged three total tackles with two for loss and a sack against the New York Jets. It was yet another Sunday where the box score understates his impact on the game.

His team, however, did not take advantage.

The Browns fell 27-20 despite the Jets completing just six passes. But Garrett's footprint was unmistakable. He collapsed edges, killed drives and forced everything early and off schedule.

And it looks like the next wave of Aggies defensive terror has also arrived in Carolina.

Panthers rookie Nic Scourton continued his weekly quarterback visitation schedule, sacking New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough once and finished the game with four tackles in a 17-7 grinder of a loss for Carolina.

Scourton's production is nice, his consistency is the tell. He's winning matchups with a veteran's play and a rookie's motor, and that's a nice combination.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper spent Monday Night Football reminding the reigning champs that crossers and checkdowns don't come free.

Cooper stacked six tackles in a 10-7 defensive trench war that the Eagles ultimately won. Like Garrett and Scourton, Cooper's efforts didn't cash in with a team win, but the tape reads nicely like a long-term investment that pays steady dividends.

Add it all up and Week 10 felt like a maroon proof of concept where speed translates, physicality travels, and the league keeps taking Aggies seriously.

Achane's explosive play powers the Dolphins, Garrett remains a weekly problem for opponents, Scourton's arrival is no longer in question, and Cooper's arrow keeps pointing upward.
