Green Wave standouts deliver outstanding offensive performances, with quarterback Jake Retzlaff leading the charge.

It's safe to say that the Tulane Green Wave is heating up at the right time.

Tulane recorded a season-high overall grade of 84.6 following a 37-13 win over the Temple Owls on Saturday, and both the offense and defense put up some solid numbers as well. 21 of 27 offensive players scored above a 60.0, with many earning marks of 70.0 or above.

Here's a look at which offensive players performed the highest for the Green Wave, with a minimum of 25 snaps played.

    1. QB Jake Retzlaff

Retzlaff has continuously asserted himself as the team leader on offense -- obviously, that didn't change against the Owls.

The dual-threat signal-caller earned a team-high 77.3 grade following a stellar showing in which he went 17-for-28 passing for 231 yards and two touchdowns, with one rushing score as well. Retzlaff's 75.7 passing grade and 67.8 rushing grade were both well above average, and he made some noise as a run blocker as well with a grade of 60.0 to put him right around average in that category.

At the end of the day, Retzlaff has proven to be a considerable addition from the transfer portal for  Tulane. He's been a true difference maker on offense and could lead his team to a historic postseason appearance.

    2. RB Jamauri McClure

McClure went from receiving very limited snaps to setting season-highs on the ground and performing better than many of his teammates.

The freshman running back followed up an outstanding performance against the Florida Atlantic University Owls with an equally impressive showing against Temple, rushing for 122 yards on 17 carries. McClure earned a 76.5 overall grade from PFF, with a 74.4 rushing grade and an even higher run-blocking grade of 77.7.

However, there is one area that McClure definitely needs to improve in: his pass-blocking grade of 17.9 was the worst on the team by roughly 10 points. That didn't hurt too much against the Owls, but its just one area that the rising star needs to make sure he focuses on to become a completely well-rounded player.

    3. C Jack Hollifield

Hollifield anchored an offensive line that gave up just one sack on the day, scoring a 74.7 overall grade following his performance.

The center played all 71 offensive snaps for the team and was a key contributor to the offense's success, even though he wasn't the one making the explosive runs or hauling in the clutch receptions. Hollifield had high marks as a blocker, with a score of 82.3 as a pass blocker and 69.5 as a run blocker.

Offensive line play has been a key factor in the Green Wave's offensive performance in most games this season. Luckily for the team, everyone appears to be clicking at the right time.
