    The Washington Huskies men's soccer team will play in the NCAA national championship game.

    The Huskies advanced to the national championship after beating No. 16 Furman 3-1 in a national semifinal on Friday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.

    Washington will play either Saint Louis or No. 15 North Carolina State, who were playing in the other semifinal game, in the national championship at 4 p.m. PT on Dec. 15 at First Horizon Stadium in Cary, N.C.

    The Huskies men's and women's soccer programs both went on miracle runs this season deep into their respective national championships.

    The Washington men's team, which entered the tournament ranked 15th by the United Soccer Coaches, will play in their second national championship since 2021 and second in program history.

    The women's team, which was ranked 13th going into tournament play, advanced to the quarterfinals before falling 3-0 to Duke.
