Third-Year TE has Accounted for 3 of QB Josh Allen's 7 TD Passes

The Buffalo Bills have a handful of exciting, young pass-catchers on their roster, and tight end Dalton Kincaid is one of the best of that group.

After a promising rookie season, in which he caught 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns, Kincaid took a step back last season, totaling just 44 receptions, 448 yards and two scores.

But the 25-year-old TE is off to a promising start this year, and Bills fans are presumably liking what they see from the Utah alum, who’s become a favorite target of Allen in the red zone.

Kincaid has scored a touchdown in three of Buffalo’s four games this year, including his 28-yard TD grab in Sunday’s 31-19 win over the New Orleans Saints.

But perhaps even more impressive than the score itself — an uncontested walk-in touchdown along the right sideline after jetting behind the defense — was the celebration that happened after.

Kincaid took the ball and launched it into the crowds. And that may be an understatement given the ball nearly hit the back video boards in the second row of the stands.

As he made his way back to the sideline, Kincaid was congratulated by several of his teammates, including quarterback Josh Allen, who gestured like he was putting a crown on Kincaid’s head.

The celebration caught the attention of a few fans on social media, who hit the comment section to celebrate their emerging QB-TE connection.

“That was such a fun moment! Reminds me of the kind of energy Nate Brooks always talks about with this team. Go Bills!” one fan replied.

“How happy it makes me that Dalton is having a great start,” another fan stated.

“Joe Brady take notes,” remarked another.

Through four games, Kincaid has logged 14 receptions on 18 targets, 179 yards, and a team-high three touchdowns. Nearly 43% of Allen’s seven touchdown passes have gone Kincaid’s way.

At his current pace, Kincaid is tracking top finish this season with 59.5 receptions, 760 yards, and 12 touchdowns.
