The Denver Broncos came into Week 6 with a 3-2 record and a game in London against the winless New York Jets.
While the Broncos escaped with a rather-ugly 13-11 win, it still moves them to 4-2 and marks the third consecutive victory.
The only touchdown of the game came in the second quarter as Bo Nix connected with Nate Adkins for a 16-yard touchdown.
Besides that, it was all field goals and a safety, but the Broncos still managed to sneak out a win.
After the game, cornerback Pat Surtain II spoke about the three-game winning streak, per Broncos reporter Aric DiLalla.
"It's a credit and a testament to the staff and the team for being able to lock in and prepare the right way no matter what the circumstances are."
The Broncos defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, then beat the Philadelphia Eagles on the road and now defeated the Jets in London in a tough three-week stretch that sent them overseas.
Broncos coach Sean Payton also admitted the win was "hard to come by", per DiLalla.
"Great to get the win, but [it was] hard to come by."
The NFL isn't won on style points, so this win counts the same as a win against the Eagles or anybody else, although the Broncos will likely want to forget about this one.
Nix threw for 174 yards with a score, but the Broncos defense held the Jets without a touchdown and frustrated Justin Fields and the offense time and time again.
Suddenly, the Broncos go from 1-2 to 4-2 and emerge as an AFC West contender once again.
Next up is a showdown against the New York Giants in Denver, which marks the first of back-to-back home games after two straight road affairs.
