Johnny Manziel clearly does not like the Cleveland Browns.

There is obviously no love lost between Johnny Manziel and the Cleveland Browns, and the former NFL quarterback made that clear as day during a recent appearance on the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson.

While discussing the Browns heading into the 2025 NFL season, Manziel wanted to let everyone know that he is rooting for Cleveland...to lose.

"I sit here today and I go back and forth. Am I going to let Cleveland off the hook and just let it go, or am I going to sit here with hate and animosity in my heart for the rest of my life?" Manziel said. "I finally sit here today and say [expletive], I think I'm going to be pissed at them and hate them forever."

Manziel was originally selected by the Browns with the 22nd overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft and entered the league with much fanfare surrounding him. However, the Texas A&M product was never able to get his career off the ground, lasting just two seasons before finding himself out of the NFL for good.

"It is what it is," Manziel added. "No love for the Browns. I'm rooting for 0-16 seasons every season."

Well, someone should probably tell Manziel that the NFL seasons are now 17 games long rather than 16, so he may want to make an adjustment there.

Regardless, it's clear that Manziel largely blames Cleveland for his football flameout, which is odd considering that he has taken accountability for his mistakes over the last couple of years.

The 32-year-old made 14 appearances and eight starts for the Browns, totaling 1,675 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 57.8 percent of his passes and posting a 79.4 passer rating.

To be fair to Manziel, Cleveland did not exactly afford him — or really any other quarterback — with an environment to succeed, but on that same token, we cannot ignore the fact that Manziel didn't even get another NFL opportunity after the Browns.

The Tyler, Tx. native was a star on the NCAA circuit, but persistent off-the-field troubles sabotaged his professional career and never allowed him to harness all of the talent he used to win a Heisman Trophy during his freshman campaign with the Aggies.

But it seems like Manziel will never quite get over his hatred toward Cleveland.
