Kyler Murray makes his return on Monday Night Football facing the Dallas Cowboys, after missing two games

Even though Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has filled the void at quarterback with the absence of Kyler Murray, the Cardinals are excited to get their leader back on the field. Murray was out for two games with a foot injury, the Cardinals announced he will be starting on Monday night.

The last time the Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys matched up was Week 3 of 2023. Arizona was without Murray and ended up beating Dallas, if the Cardinals were to win on Monday it would be the fourth-straight victory over the Cowboys.

Even though this game for the Cardinals is on the road they are facing a Cowboys team that has given up over 20 points per game. Dak Prescott, quarterback for Dallas is having an MVP year, although they still sit at a 3-4-1 record going into Monday night's game.

Prescott has a total 2,069 passing yards, 16 touchdown passes and only five interceptions. A QBR of 79.5 which sits at number one in the NFL amongst quarterbacks. Murray on the other hand, despite missing two games, has only 962 passing yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions, a total QBR of 44.1 sitting 25th amongst quarterbacks in the NFL.

The amazing stat Kyler Murray brings to this game is, he has never lost at the home of the Cowboys.

Dallas is allowing 52.4-percent of third downs to become converted first down. The Cowboys Defense on third down seems to keep falling apart, something Murray and the Cardinals hopefully can expose. Seems to be the perfect game for a return of the star player for the Cardinals.

Arizona has multiple injuries and several players limited in practice. Not just Murray returning from injury though as Linebacker BJ Ojulari opened his practice window as well an is expected to return to the field for this Monday night matchup.

First time since week two the Cardinals are also seeing cornerback Garrett Williams taking part in practice after he sustained his knee injury. Other notable limited practice players for Arizona are Defensive Lineman Walter Nolen, Wide Receiver Zay Jones, Running back Emari Demercado and Safety Kitan Crawford.

Although Dallas is favored to win this game, the Cardinals are coming off of a bye week and have Murray returning, seems to be a great setup for an upset. Arizona is looking to expose the the Cowboys defense, put up first downs and hopefully come out with a win.
